Hurtin' Units vs. The Beer Bros.

Team Record – 6-6-0
Coventry Park - Well, it took a little while to finally get to this post. If I'm being honest, I forgot about writing the post and just got too busy to get back to it. It's been over a week since the Hurtin' Units' last game, it's not like we haven't put some time in at the diamond. One of my distractions was the Help the Kids Play tournament that took place over the weekend past. I played and helped out with the Dogcatchers over the weekend. There were actually 6 players from the Hurtin' Units that played in the tournament, but because we only had 6 guys, we were dispersed onto other teams that were in the tourney. Peter, Mike D., Harley, Brad M., Kyle S., and I were spread out on the other teams. Harley and Peter played on the Inglourious Batsters, Mike and Brad played on the Diamond Kings, Kyle was on the Beer Bros., and I was on the Dogcatchers. Kyle would be on the team that won the tournament. Congratulations, Kyle and the Beer Bros.
The weather for this game was good; the temperature at 9:15 pm was 22 degrees with a soft breeze and clearing skies. At game time, the Units had 10 guys dressed to play, the Umpire was Lou ( lady Lou, not sweet Lou), and I can't remember who kept score.
Since this game, I have played 8 games, and they all seem to blend together, so to make things simple and get caught up, I am going to post a picture of the results and put this post to bed.
The Hurtin' Units next game is Thursday July 17th, vs. Dodge City.
